Why couples book chair massage
I'm Niya, an experienced massage therapist based in London, and I run this service personally. You deal directly with the therapist who will be at your wedding, not a booking agency. For larger weddings I bring additional qualified therapists so more of your guests can enjoy the experience.
Wedding days are wonderful, and exhausting. Guests travel for hours, stand through the ceremony, sit through speeches, then dance until midnight. Chair massage gives them a genuine moment of calm and wellbeing in the middle of it all, and it is the detail they will still be talking about months later.
It works in any venue: marquees, gardens, hotels, barns. Setup takes minutes and needs only a couple of square metres. Guests stay fully clothed, there are no oils, and hair and makeup stay perfect, which means even the bridal party can enjoy a relaxing treatment before the ceremony.
Where it fits in your day
Getting ready. While the bridal party waits for hair and makeup, a relaxing shoulder and neck massage melts away pre-wedding nerves. Styling stays untouched.
During couple photos. Your guests are relaxed and looked after while you are with the photographer.
Between dinner and dancing. The perfect reset. Guests get up from the table loosened, refreshed and ready for the dance floor.

The massage itself
Each guest enjoys fifteen minutes of focused, professional massage covering the shoulders, back, arms, hands and neck, with a head massage available on request. I offer both the classic face-down position in a professional massage chair and a seated, face-up option, ideal for anyone in full bridal hair and makeup. Everyone stays fully clothed and comfortable. Relaxing music and aromatherapy are available on request for an extra touch of calm and relaxation. Think of it as a dedicated pamper station for your wedding day — a calm corner of pure wellness for anyone who needs a moment.
Simple, transparent pricing
The price you see is the price you pay
Most wedding massage is booked through agencies, and almost none of them show a price. You fill in a form, wait for a quote, and the number that comes back is rarely the number you end up paying — travel, setup, event surcharges and VAT often get added on top, and there is an agency margin built in before any of it reaches the therapist.
I do it differently. My prices are published, all-inclusive and exactly what you will pay — nothing added at the end. Every package below covers the whole of London and most of Kent; venues further afield are simply quoted separately and upfront, so there are no surprises. And because you book me directly rather than through a middleman, you are not paying an agency's markup — you are paying the person who will actually be at your wedding.
Every package includes professional massage chairs, setup and breakdown, flexible scheduling around your ceremony and reception, and relaxing music and aromatherapy on request. Ten, fifteen or twenty-minute sessions available — fifteen minutes as standard, shorter sessions to reach more guests, or longer for a deeper treatment. Your choice.
Four hours with one therapist (me), ideal while the bridal party gets ready. Up to 16 massages, or longer massages for fewer people. Perfect if you would love the pampering but are not booking massage for the main event.

Questions couples ask
How much space do you need?
About two square metres per chair. A quiet corner of the reception room, a marquee edge or a shaded garden spot all work beautifully.
What about outdoor weddings?
I love them. I just need shelter from rain and direct sun. A gazebo or awning is perfect.
Will it affect hair or makeup?
Not at all. There are no oils, and alongside the classic massage chair I offer a seated, face-up position, so anyone in full bridal styling can relax without a single hair out of place.
Which areas do you massage?
Shoulders, back, arms, hands and neck as standard, with a head massage on request.
Do guests queue?
No standing around. I run a simple sign-up sheet or time slots so guests drift over when it suits them.
Are you insured?
Yes. I hold full professional indemnity, public liability and medical malpractice insurance, and any additional therapists I bring are fully insured too. Documentation is available for your venue on request.
What if we have more than 84 guests?
Not everyone chooses a massage. 84 covered typically suits weddings of 150 or more comfortably. For bigger plans I will quote for extra therapists.
How far will you travel?
The whole of London and most of Kent are covered within the published prices. Venues further afield are very welcome — I will simply quote any travel separately and upfront.
When should we book?
Whenever suits you. Booking early guarantees peak-season Saturdays, but I often have dates free at shorter notice, even just a few weeks away. Just get in touch and I will tell you straight away if your date is available.
